If you don’t already follow Mental Floss, I highly recommend adding them to your favorite RSS reader. They recently posted a fascinating article on some of the oldest trees in the world — some as old as 9,550 years. Not only do they have interesting names like Methuselah, Old Tjikko, and the Zoroastrian Sarv, but they have great histories as well. If only these trees could talk!
